Here are some of my favorite honey recipes. I’ll be adding more as time permits. Your own recipes or suggestions on these are welcome as well, Just try to include Honey or Pollen!

Bman’s Honey Butter
Ingredients:
-1 Lb. Butter
-1 Lb. Honey (Preferably Raw, partly crystalized works best)
Combine ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Blend well with blender.
Scoop into tupperware or other sealable container, use a spatula to get it all!
Spread on toast, biscuits, bagels, the possibilities are endless!

Bman’s French Toast
Ingredients:
-2 Eggs
-1/4 cup Milk
-1/4 teaspoon Vanilla extract (optional)
-Cinnamon Bread, (unglazed)
-Butter
-Honey (raw Honey preferred)
-Cinnamon
Directions:
Mix eggs milk and vanilla in wide shallow bowl.
Warm skillet, Electric griddle, or pan to Medium High. (~300-350 Deg F)
Melt some butter to cover bottom of pan.
Dip bread (Both sides) in egg mixture, place on skillet.
Sprinkle cinnamon over top side.
Flip after 2-3 minutes, cook until both sides have mottled golden brown appearance.
Remove from skillet, repeat until all of the egg mixture is used up.
Add Butter and Honey to finished toast.
Add fruit on the side or serve as is, Enjoy!

Aunt Connie’s Hot Toddy
Ingredients:
-2 Tablespoons Honey
-1 Tablespoon Lemon or Lime Juice (fresh squeezed is best)
-1 Shot of your favorite Whiskey
Directions:
Mix in your favorite coffee/tea mug
Fill mug to top with boiling water
Stir and serve!
Can substitute green tea for boiling water if you desire.
Be sure to drink the entire mixture while hot for greatest benefit!

Bill’s Honey Mustard Balsamic Vinaigrette
Ingredients:
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup white balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons white mustard seeds
2 tablespoons honey
Minced shallots
Salt and pepper
Optional: Chopped basil and chives
Directions:
Mix mustard seeds vinegar and water into a skillet, heat medium temp until softened. Let cool
Add honey, shallots, oil and optional herbs.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Pour into bottle with top that seals well for shaking.
Suggested salad:
Arugula, blueberries, pears, jerk chicken, feta, and grape tomatoes.
Shake vinaigrette well and add to salad.
